W-2

The W-2, also known as the Wage and Tax Statement and Transmittal of Wage and Tax Statements Form, reports taxable income and corresponding withholdings for paychecks issued throughout a calendar year.

FILLING OUT W-2 FROMS- INFORMATION AND TIPS

1. Employers are required to provide each employee with a Wage and Tax Statement Form (W-2) be any means neccessary prior to January 31.

2. Ensure you have a W-2 form from each of your places of employ during the calendar year.

3. Any incorrect information contained on a W-2 Form should be addressed by both you and the employer.
